Come Together to Fall Apart: a Community Grief Event
Facilitated by Sarah Peterson, Sunny Morehouse & Amber Van Cleave
This three-part series is an opportunity to move through some of the thoughts and emotions arising in response to our current world situation in an intimate group setting. This heart-centered process is not about confirming ideologies, convincing others, or figuring anything out, but rather it is a practice of witnessing each other and ourselves with acceptance and respect, in trust that this in itself provides immense healing benefit that will ripple out into the world. The focus will be on presence: on moving and releasing emotions rather than avoiding them.
All views and humans are welcome; hate speech and verbal or other aggression are not.*
4th Mondays from 4:15-6:30 PM
During each event we will move through a 3-part process, but emphasis will be on one of the parts. Each evening will build on what came previously, so it would be ideal to attend all three. However, each evening may be attended separately with no prior engagement required.
Suggested donation is $10-30 with no-one turned away for lack of funds.
Pre-registration is required by end of day on the Friday before each event. Arrive at 4:15 to settle in quietly. Doors will be closed and locked at 4:30 before we begin, to ensure a closed container. Please plan accordingly.
1) March 23: "Release!" (Head/Thinking)
2) April 27: "Feel!" (Heart/Feeling)
3) May 25 Memorial Day: "Move!" (Hands/Willing)
Let's come together to clear out the mind chatter and emotional clutter, so we can better receive the Thoughts that can move us forward in living relationship with our world and each other.
*To be determined at the discretion of the facilitators.
